I am a proud lifelong son of the neighborhoods in this district.
As an elected official, I continuously volunteer to support school districts both small and large in West Lane County.
District 1 includes Dunes City, Florence, Junction City, Veneta, most of North Eugene's River Road & Santa Clara neighborhoods, unincorporated towns like Blachly, Cheshire, Crow, Deadwood, Elmira, Glenada, Lorane, Mapleton, Noti, Swisshome and Walton, waterfront gems like Fern Ridge, Siltcoos Lake, Triangle Lake and Heceta Head Lighthouse, and more hard-working communities that deserve responsiveness, accountability and transparency.
These hardy West Lane communities have built us into the strong county we have historically been. Their 76,000 residents must be as heard and well-served as every other region of Lane. This campaign is deeply qualified to bring that kind of committed leadership, seeking to rebuild trust between everyday people and the county board.
